Fostercarenews is part of the group of web sites owned by Family Services Ltd, a 'not for profit' independent company supported by experienced, qualified social workers working in Fostering and Adoption.
As fostering social workers we experienced the daily frustration of trying to find Foster care placements for children and young people from a shrinking pool of Foster carers.
After looking closely at the problem we created Fostercarenews.
Fostercarenews was designed as a recruitment strategy which aims to raise awareness, answer questions and increase the general interest in fostering in the UK.
Family Services Ltd aim to help the UK wide efforts to recruit foster carers by providing information, practical help and by promoting a better understanding of what fostering is in the UK.
